Build Your Position! – Ethical Case Studies Made Practical

This course is about empowering students to develop an opinion about highly controversial topics in current public discussion. The participants will be encouraged to find and create building blocks based on conceptions of philosophical and theological ethics. In addition to introductory lectures, book discussions, films, and other media, role playing and mock debates will be used as tools to help sharpen argumentation.
