Existentialism, Race, and Gender UH, W

This course will survey not only some of the canonical authors of existential philosophy (e.g., Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Sartre), but more importantly, read them in relation to other authors that are not traditionally included, yet who struggle with the problems of existence and, in turn, provide wonderfully rich insights into the human condition.
