Gas Metal Arc/Flux Cored Arc Welding

This course introduces students to the Gas Metal Arc and Flux Cored Arc Welding (GMAW/FCAW) processes. Emphasis is placed on safe operating practices, proper handling, and storage of compressed gases, as well as process principles, component identification, various welding techniques, and identification of base and filler metals. Upon completing this course, students will be able to perform GMAW/FCAW welds in various positions. This is a CORE course.
