World Cinema

Examination of a particular world cinema (French, German, Spanish). Emphasis on analysis of international filmmakers and film movements. Students will learn the aspects of film language and aesthetics, and the social, cultural and historical contexts surrounding the films. May be repeated once for a maximum of 8 credits, when topics vary.
