Business Administration

The Master of Business Administration is designed for professionals whose career and management responsibilities exceed a single functional specialty. The program provides an interdisciplinary, integrated, applied approach with a strong emphasis on Biblical values and ethical business practices.

The Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (BABA) is designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful career in business and administration. The program includes general education, technology related electives, and major courses taught through the lens of Christian principles.

The Master of Science in Computer Information Systems (MSCIS) program is designed for students with some experience in computer technology and planning who desire to advance their knowledge and skills in the design, programming, and application of information technology systems. AEU is currently not operating this program.

Counseling with Marriage and Family Therapy

The Master of Arts in Counseling with Marriage and Family Therapy is a two-year program that provides course work and practical training for those who wish to be equipped with counseling competence needed to assist Christian individuals and families both inside and outside of the local church context. It is a non-licensure program.

Divinity

The Master of Divinity (MDiv) program is designed to equip students with skills that will help them integrate biblical and theological reflection with hands-on ministry experience to become servant leaders in local church settings, in parachurch organizations, as well as in the mission field.

Leadership Studies

America Evangelical University offers a Bachelor's degree in Leadership Studies based on 120 semester units. The BA in Leadership Studies (BALS) is designed to equip students for pastoral ministry and leadership within the local church, as well as in Christian or non-Christian non-profit and mission organizations.

The Associate of Arts in Leadership Studies program (AALS) is designed to equip students for pastoral ministry and leadership within a local church setting, a non-profit organization, or a mission organization. This program is a concise, well-balanced shorter program in biblical and leadership studies for students who may not be able to commit to a more extensive program.

Marriage and Family Therapy

The MAMFT program marries theory with practice, underpinned by a commitment to Christian ethics, emphasizing academic research, theoretical knowledge, and clinical training. The program meets the educational standards set by the State of California Board of Behavioral Sciences, fulfilling academic requirements for those aiming to become Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists.

The Doctor of Counseling with Marriage and Family Therapy is designed to build the knowledge and skills of counselors who work in churches or faith-based organizations. This program prepares students for advanced skills necessary in pastoral counseling, hospital chaplaincy, family case management, or other counseling positions which do not require professional licensure.

Ministry

AEU's D.Min. is designed to equip ordained pastors and missionaries with dynamic and effective pastoral/missional leadership skills for the contemporary postmodern world. Students can choose between two concentrations: Missional Church Leadership, or Ministry and Counseling.

The Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership (MAML) is designed for persons preparing for a variety of Christian ministries, with a particular view towards those who wish to minister in cross-cultural or multicultural environments. It provides considerable academic preparation for missionaries, cross-cultural workers, pastors, teachers, and researchers.

Organizational and Global Leadership

The M.A. in Organizational Leadership enables students to gain advanced knowledge of core business practices from diverse fields such as coaching and mentoring, media and arts, healthcare, education, politics, or sports. It is a fully online, asynchronous degree program that prepares working professionals to assume leadership roles.

The Ph.D. in Organizational and Global Leadership is a degree program offering two tracks of concentrations that equip students to serve as missional leaders throughout diverse global ministry contexts. Students are prepared to provide transformational leadership, coaching, and mentoring.
