Applied Mathematics

Bible and Ministry

The Master of Arts degree in Bible and Ministry is offered through Emmaus University Global (EU Global).

Bible/Theology 3-plus-1 Transfer Program

A program of study equipping graduates with knowledge of the Bible, Christian theology, and general studies, with a transfer pathway to the University of Dubuque for a fourth year in a major discipline not offered at Emmaus. Completion results in a B.S. from Emmaus and a B.S. or B.A. from the University of Dubuque.

Bible/Theology with concentration in Pre-Professional Health Sciences

A four-year program equipping graduates with thorough knowledge of the Bible and Christian theology, with a Pre-Professional Health Sciences concentration offered through a concurrent enrollment agreement with the University of Dubuque to prepare for entrance into professional health science programs.

Biblical Studies

The Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies is a four-year program designed to equip graduates with thorough knowledge of the Bible and Christian theology. The major offers the choice of one of six tracks: English Bible, Theology, Ministry, New Testament, Old Testament, or Biblical Exegesis.

Biblical Studies

The AA in Biblical Studies is a two-year program designed to equip graduates with foundational knowledge and skills in biblical studies.

Biblical Studies (Certificate)

The Certificate in Biblical Studies is a one-year program designed to provide a foundation for lifelong learning in biblical and theological studies.

Biblical Studies (Continuing Education Certificate)

A program of study designed to provide the college graduate or career-interruption student the opportunity for intensive Bible study, with courses selected according to student interest and background.

Business

The Associate of Arts in Business is a two-year program designed to provide the student with foundational knowledge and skills in business along with an overview of the Bible and Christian theology.

Business Administration

A four-year program providing a thorough understanding of current business principles and practice rooted in a biblical worldview, preparing graduates to operate effectively as business leaders in commercial and non-profit settings.

Computer Information Systems

A program designed to equip the college graduate or career-interruption student to effectively use technology in support of a variety of vocations and ministries.

Computer Information Systems

A four-year program equipping graduates to analyze the computer technology requirements of a business or ministry, determine the systems and networks necessary to satisfy those requirements, and manage the resulting information technology environment. Offered with Programming and Networking and Security tracks.

Computer Science

A four-year program equipping graduates to analyze problems and processes to determine solutions that apply mathematics, logic, and algorithmic principles, and implement those solutions through optimized and well-designed systems and software.

Counseling Psychology

Counseling Psychology is a four-year program designed to provide graduates with a thorough understanding of counseling theory and practice integrated with biblical and theological truth to equip them for effective counseling ministry and/or vocation.

Cross-Cultural Nursing

A four-year program providing understanding of the Bible and theology, cross-cultural adjustment and communication, and professional nursing skills, equipping graduates to serve the physical and spiritual needs of patients in cross-cultural contexts. Nursing coursework is offered through a cooperative agreement with Northeast Iowa Community College.

Cybersecurity

A four-year program equipping graduates with the knowledge and expertise to analyze existing security architectures, perform risk management, and apply new security measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems.

Dental Assisting

A four-year program providing understanding of the Bible and theology along with dental assisting knowledge, skills, and dispositions. Coursework is offered through a cooperative agreement with Northeast Iowa Community College; graduates are eligible for state registration and national certification exams.

Digital Marketing

A four-year program that integrates business and marketing principles and practice rooted in a biblical worldview, preparing graduates to operate effectively in commercial and non-profit settings. Offered in partnership with the LCMC/Rize Consortium.

Educational Ministries

A four-year program offered in Camp Ministries, Children's Ministries, Ministry Leadership, and Youth Ministries tracks, preparing graduates for Christ-centered ministry in a variety of contexts.

Elementary Education

A program designed to provide the college graduate or career-interruption student the opportunity to obtain an initial teaching license from the state of Iowa or certification from ACSI.

Elementary Education

A four-year program of study designed to equip graduates with the professional knowledge, skills, and dispositions for elementary teaching, leading toward Iowa teacher licensure and/or ACSI certification.

ESL Education

A four-year program of study designed to equip graduates with the professional knowledge, skills, and dispositions for K-12 ESL teaching, leading toward Iowa teacher licensure and/or ACSI certification.

General Studies

Intercultural Studies

Intercultural Studies is a four-year program designed to provide graduates with a thorough understanding of the Bible and equip them for effective cross-cultural ministry.

K-12 Education

The AA in K-12 Education is a two-year program designed to provide foundational knowledge of K-12 education for the student who wishes to pursue a K-12 education degree in a content area not offered at Emmaus.

K-8 Music Education

A four-year program of study designed to equip graduates with the professional knowledge, skills, and dispositions for K-8 music teaching, leading toward Iowa teacher licensure and/or ACSI certification.

Medical Assistant

A four-year program providing understanding of the Bible and theology along with medical assisting knowledge, skills, and dispositions. Coursework is offered through a cooperative agreement with Northeast Iowa Community College.

Missions (Certificate)

The Certificate in Missions is a program of study designed to equip graduates with foundational skills and knowledge in cross-cultural ministry, and can be completed concurrently with any associate or bachelor degree program at Emmaus.

Missions (Continuing Education Certificate)

A program of study designed to equip the college graduate or career-interruption student with basic skills and knowledge in cross-cultural ministry.

Nursing

A four-year program equipping graduates for effective service in the nursing profession while acquiring thorough knowledge of the Bible and Christian theology. Nursing coursework is provided through a concurrent enrollment agreement with Northeast Iowa Community College; graduates are eligible to write the NCLEX to become a registered nurse.

Paramedic

A four-year program providing understanding of the Bible and theology along with paramedic knowledge, skills, and dispositions. Coursework is offered through a cooperative agreement with Northeast Iowa Community College.

Radiologic Technology

A four-year program providing understanding of the Bible and theology along with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to function as an entry-level radiographer. Coursework is offered through a cooperative agreement with Northeast Iowa Community College.

Respiratory Care

A four-year program providing understanding of the Bible and theology along with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to care for patients with respiratory and cardiovascular conditions. Coursework is offered through a cooperative agreement with Northeast Iowa Community College.

Secondary Education

A four-year program of study designed to equip graduates with the professional knowledge, skills, and dispositions for secondary teaching, with endorsement areas including Bible, English Language Arts, Mathematics, Psychology, and World History, leading toward Iowa teacher licensure and/or ACSI certification.

Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)

A program of study designed to equip students to teach English to non-native speakers at all levels of ability, either in the U.S. or abroad. Students must complete the Certificate in Biblical Studies in order to receive the Certificate in TESOL.

Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)

Youth Ministries

A program of study designed to provide the college graduate or career-interruption student the opportunity for intensive study in Bible/theology and youth ministries.
