Interdenominational Theological Center
Divinity
The Master of Divinity is a three-year program designed for full and part-time students who seek to harmonize theological education with practical ministerial work, blending theory with practice and academic study with pastoral formation. It offers a foundational graduate-level professional education tailored for those preparing for ordained ministry, culminating in 6 credits of capstone projects and field placements.
Master's DegreeMinistry
The Doctor of Ministry is a call for students, staff, faculty, and administrators to reimagine theological education, shifting its focus from theoretical concerns to the real-world problems of humanity. The program educates and equips prophetic problem solvers to work with communities to address pressing problems, using human-centered design thinking, and requires a Master of Divinity degree for admission.
Doctoral ProfessionalTheology
The Certificate in Theology, offered since 1990 at study sites across the U.S., Japan, Canada, and the Caribbean, is a cross-denominational, cross-cultural continuing education program for persons with a recent call to ministry, veteran pastors, and laypersons seeking empowerment for greater service. Students study alongside peers under instruction from the same scholars who teach in the ITC master's degree curriculum. (Program is currently under revision.)
