Automotive Technology

The Automotive Technology Program offers ASE based training in automotive maintenance and repair with an emphasis on logical diagnostic procedures and effective repair methods. Students gain proficiency through hands-on laboratory experience, and the program prepares graduates for entry-level employment as an automotive repair technician. Approximate completion is 21 months (1435 clock hours).

Automotive Technology with High Performance

This program provides instruction preparing students for a career as an automotive technician with an emphasis on high performance technology, including skills for automotive competition and customization. The primary focus is on automotive diagnostics and repair guided by ASE certification, with a general education component reinforcing soft skills.

Automotive Technology with Power Generation

This program provides instruction on the basic industry practices and technical concepts necessary for a career as a power generation and distribution service technician. It focuses on power generation and distribution systems, diagnostics, and repair including power plants (prime movers), AC and DC power generation, and AC and DC power distribution.

Commercial Truck Driving CDL (Class A-ELDT)

The Commercial Truck Driving (CDL Class A-ELDT) Program is a 170-hour training program aligned with the FMCSA ELDT and CSA initiative, covering the seven Behavior Analysis Safety Improvement Categories. Graduates develop the basic skills necessary to pass the Class A Commercial Driver's License Examination. Approximate completion is 4-8 weeks.

Diesel Advanced Technology Education

The Diesel Advanced Technology Education (DATE) Program offers ASE/NATEF based comprehensive training in diesel technology, with graduates able to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks. The program has a specialty focus on manufacturer-specific training for Volvo and Mack trucks, preparing graduates to earn Volvo/Mack certifications. Approximate completion is 24 months (1668.75 clock hours).

Diesel Technology

The Diesel Technology Program offers ASE based comprehensive training in diesel technology, with graduates able to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks including diesel engines, drive train, brakes, electrical systems, and air conditioning. Skills are taught in classroom and laboratory settings. Approximate completion is 21 months (1435 clock hours).

HVAC-R

This program introduces students to the professional Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC-R) repair industry. The primary focus is on HVAC-R systems diagnostics and repair including HVAC-R mechanicals, heating systems and furnaces, and residential, commercial, and transport HVAC-R systems, with students introduced to HVAC-R systems designs, specification and automation. Approximate completion is 21 months (1389.5 clock hours).

HVAC-R Diploma

This diploma program introduces students to the professional Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC-R) repair industry, providing foundation theory and hands-on workshop training. Graduates are awarded a diploma in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC-R). The program totals 1100.5 clock hours.

Marine and Recreation Vehicle Technology

This program provides instruction on the basic industry practices and technical concepts necessary for a career as a marine and recreational vehicle service technician. The primary focus is on Marine and Recreational Vehicle systems diagnostics and repair, including outboard engines, drive trains and power plants, A/C and D/C electrical systems, suspension systems, and body and hull systems. Approximate completion is 21 months (1435.50 clock hours).

Network Administration - Security

The Network Administration and Security Program offers training in network and server maintenance with an emphasis on design and diagnostic procedures. It prepares graduates for entry-level employment as a network administrator and provides the knowledge and skills to complete several industry and vendor certifications. Approximate completion is 18 months.

Welding and Fabrication Technology

The Welding and Fabrication Technology program focuses on real world fundamentals in welding technologies with additional coursework in fabrication and a large emphasis on hands-on laboratory work. It prepares graduates for entry-level employment as welding technicians with additional opportunities in ship fitting, structural welding, pipe welding, and entry level fabrication. Approximate completion is 21 months (1422 clock hours).

Welding Technology Diploma

The Welding Technology diploma program focuses on real world fundamentals in welding technologies with a large emphasis on hands-on laboratory work. It prepares graduates for entry-level employment as a welding technician with additional opportunities in ship fitting, structural welding, and pipe welding, and satisfies state of Florida requirements for welding at 750 contact hours. Approximate completion is 11 months (1176 clock hours).
