Cardiovascular Interventional Technology (CIT)

Cardiovascular interventional technology is one of the advanced imaging modality programs offered as a one-semester (16-week) course of study for ARRT-registered technologists. All Advanced Imaging programs meet American Registry of Radiologic Technologists' (ARRT) structural educational requirements for certification and registration.

Computed Tomography (CT)

Computed tomography is one of the advanced imaging modality programs offered as a one-semester course of study (10 weeks) for graduates of accredited radiologic technology, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, or diagnostic medical sonography programs. All Advanced Imaging programs meet American Registry of Radiologic Technologists' (ARRT) structural educational requirements for certification and registration.

Diagnostic Medical Sonography

Diagnostic medical sonography uses sound waves (ultrasound) to produce both 2D and 3D dynamic images of tissue, organs, and blood flow inside the human body. Areas of specialization including abdominal, vascular, obstetrics/gynecology, and echocardiography are all available in a single bachelor's degree curriculum at Kettering College. Upon successful completion of the program, a student receives the Bachelor of Science degree with a major in diagnostic medical sonography.

Healthcare Management

Kettering College offers a three-year, full-time Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences degree with a major in healthcare management, which is ideal for those pursuing a career in healthcare management. An emphasis in pre-occupational therapy may be completed by students planning to apply to an occupational therapy doctoral program.

Healthcare Studies

Kettering College offers a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences degree with a major in Healthcare Studies, providing specialized emphases to prepare students for advanced healthcare education. This three-year, full-time program equips students with the necessary coursework for their chosen healthcare career path.

Health Sciences

The Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences requires at least 120 semester credits, including general education, with at least 40 semester credits in the upper division. The program provides high quality, values-based baccalaureate education in health-related fields with a spirit of Christian caring and service. A completion track is available for those who have already obtained an associate degree or its equivalent in healthcare.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

The magnetic resonance imaging modality program is offered in a semester and a half for graduates of accredited radiologic technology, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, or diagnostic medical sonography programs. All Advanced Imaging programs meet American Registry of Radiologic Technologists' (ARRT) structural educational requirements for certification and registration.

Nursing

The BSN degree at Kettering College prepares individuals for professional registered nurse practice and leadership. The curriculum has full-time and part-time tracks and can be completed in three years or five years of continuous study. Prelicensure, LPN-to-BSN, Accelerated (post-bachelor's), and RN-to-BSN tracks are available.

Nursing Leadership

The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program prepares nurses for leadership roles in the rapidly changing healthcare environment. Core content in the curriculum includes leadership, health promotion, organizational behavior, human resources, financial management, evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and mentoring. The curriculum includes 430 practicum hours and 10 service-learning hours over a 2-year period.

Occupational Therapy

The three-year Occupational Therapy Doctoral Program at Kettering College prepares students to become culturally responsive, innovative practitioners equipped with superior clinical reasoning skills. Rooted in a mission to serve southern Ohio and beyond, the program emphasizes holistic care through occupation-based and faith-driven practice.

Physician Assistant Studies

The Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree program is clinically based and provides the academic and clinical education necessary to become competent practicing physician assistants. Graduates are eligible for the examination administered by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Radiologic Technology

The radiologic technology program prepares students to perform radiographic procedures, administer basic levels of patient care, and qualify for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry examination. The program is competency-based, combining didactic theory with clinical application.

Respiratory Care

The respiratory care program is designed to prepare students to function with intelligence, skill, and responsibility in this specialty area. The Bachelor of Science degree program prepares graduates as competent advanced respiratory care practitioners with additional knowledge, skills, and values that expand the therapist's role in the healthcare system including leadership, management, and education.
