The Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Evangelism program offers an academic and spiritual journey focusing on the development of ministry leaders equipped with a theology informed by biblical principles and critical engagement with diverse perspectives. Graduation requires completion of all 30 hours of coursework, a professional ministry project and paper, and an oral defense.
Doctoral ProfessionalBiblical Studies
The Graduate Certificate in Biblical Studies is a 15-credit graduate level certificate designed to provide a more in-depth study of the Greek and Hebrew Scriptures for individuals who have developed a basic understanding through undergraduate studies or personal enrichment. Students may apply those 15 hours toward the foundation courses in the M.T.S. or M.Div.
Post-Baccalaureate CertificateBiblical Studies
The Certificate in Biblical Studies requires 21 semester hours of prescribed credits taken at NationsUniversity, plus two proctored comprehensive exams. Transfer credit cannot be substituted for these Certificate courses. These courses serve as the Foundations for the B.R.S.
CertificateChristian Ministry
The Certificate in Christian Ministry follows after the Certificate in Biblical Studies and may be taken concurrently with the Bachelor of Religious Studies program. The C.C.M. requires 12 semester hours of prescribed credits taken at NationsUniversity.
Short-Term CertificateDivinity
NationsUniversity's Master of Divinity program seeks to train Christian leaders in the areas of applied Christian living and ministry. It is an 84-credit hour program designed as a first professional degree in ministry, featuring a general foundation for ministry, in-depth academic training, field-based experience, and a final professional paper.
Master's DegreeReligious Studies
The Bachelor of Religious Studies requires 120 semester hour credits, a minimum of thirty of which must be taken with NU. Requirements are divided into general education, required foundation courses, additional religious courses, and general electives. It imparts a general foundation in the biblical and theological disciplines.
Bachelor's DegreeTheological Studies
The Master of Theological Studies is a 36-hour general academic graduate degree providing a serious study that covers Scripture, historical and systematic theology, comparative theology and ethics. The program builds on either the B.R.S. or on undergraduate degree programs earned elsewhere and is generally completed in two years.
