Biology

Biologists study the processes fundamental to all forms of life. How do biochemical processes control a cell’s behavior? How do pollutants threaten certain life forms? How can human life be sustained and lengthened by medical advances? The program equips students to examine these questions by exposing them to a broad base of biological knowledge, providing depth of experience in advanced topics and developing competence in scientific disciplines supportive of the life sciences.

Business Management

Students can pursue a business management degree at Ohio State's Lima, Mansfield, Marion and Newark campuses. After completing program requirements, students will receive the same undergraduate BSBA degree they would have received had they attended classes on the Columbus campus.

Child and Youth Studies

In this major, you will choose a specialization that connects with your interests and career goals, exploring child and youth development, community connections to education, and non-formal education methods. In your culminating year, you will engage in a year-long internship, learning hands-on about teaching and learning opportunities in a community organization.

Dental Hygiene (baccalaureate completion program)

This program is designed for licensed dental hygienists who hold an associate degree or certificate in dental hygiene from a CODA-accredited dental hygiene program. The program provides an opportunity for students to participate in a stimulating and educational environment that combines the general education aspects of a baccalaureate degree with advanced education in dental hygiene.

Engineering Technology

Our engineering technology students develop a sharp understanding of engineering concepts along with critical leadership skills and hands-on expertise in solving technical issues.

English

Studies in English at Ohio State prepare students to think critically about texts; to construct sound arguments based on evidence; to write elegantly and persuasively; and to understand the historical and cultural contexts in which texts are produced, disseminated and received.

Health Sciences

Ohio State’s health sciences program is a foundational undergraduate degree that introduces students to the healthcare field and provides in-depth science learning. Graduates go on to work in healthcare positions or pursue advanced graduate programs. History

Studying history creates comprehension of complexity and diversity. This is an essential skill for negotiating today's multicultural, globalized world. A history major provides students with other skills too: the ability to write clearly and persuasively and to understand complicated events in a nuanced, sophisticated way. History majors learn to read newspapers, political speeches and documents in a critical fashion, a particularly vital skill in today's information-rich world.

Psychology

Zoology
