The mission of the Administrative Office Technology Program is to prepare individuals for employment in a variety of careers as an office professional. This program provides essential training in business office procedures, customer service skills, business communications, keyboarding and document processing, proofreading and editing, business etiquette, problem solving, business writing, records and file management, and business computer skills.
DiplomaAutomotive Technology
The mission of the Automotive Technology program is to prepare students for entry-level employment as automotive technicians.Training includes classroom instruction and hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing “live” vehicles. Upon completion of an instructional area, students will be able to perform procedures expected of an automotive technician employed in the Automotive Field. Once an instructional area is mastered, students advance to the next area until all areas are complete.

The Cosmetology program is designed to help the student master all the skills necessary for passing the State Board Examination, selecting the phase or phases of Cosmetology in which to specialize, and entering employment.

The Diesel Powered Equipment Technology program provides practical experience in the repair and maintenance of engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, clutch and transmissions, hydraulics, drivelines and axles, frame and suspension systems, steering systems, brake systems, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Students receive instruction in diagnosing trouble, system analysis, disassembly, replacing defective parts, reassembling, etc.

The mission of the Masonry Technology program is to provide theory and hands-on training that will qualify students for employment or advancement in masonry industry. The Masonry program is composed of three major segments: Block, Brick, and Stone Laying. The first trimester covers the basic skills required to be an effective block or brick mason. The second trimester provides training and practical experience in laying various types and sizes of block.

Students will learn to perform entry level proficiency in shielded metal arc, gas metal arc, flux core arc and gas tungsten arc welding.
