This Hotel Operations course gives participants a strong foundation in hotel services. They learn to manage, market, and serve well in the hotel and recreation industry. The training explores customer service from every angle, including how to motivate hotel employees, standardize professional conduct, and minimize customer service issues. Participants also study the laws and regulations that affect accommodations and recreational services within facilities management, including protocols for housekeeping and janitorial staff. Participants who successfully complete the theory and hands on lab for this course earn an ACCS credential. Academic Pathways: This non-credit workforce training course may also help participants earn college credit through Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) or articulation opportunities toward select certificate or degree programs at participating Alabama community colleges.
