The elementary education curriculum consists of a series of integrated educational experiences for students preparing to teach children in elementary school systems, obtained through core courses, specialized and professional education courses, clinical experiences, and directed teaching. Students may obtain two specific areas of concentration by successfully completing 21 additional hours in each area. An additional 18-hour concentration is required for licensure.
