Alcorn State University
The Department of Social Sciences offers courses and majors in History and the teaching of the Social Sciences at the secondary education level, with teaching and non-teaching concentrations. The program prepares History majors for graduate school or related fields of employment and prepares students seeking a standard educator license to teach social sciences at the secondary level. Students must pass the Social Sciences Exit Examination to graduate.
