The mission of the Elementary Education (Teacher Education) program is to provide educational opportunities that allow students to become highly competent certified teachers at the baccalaureate and graduate level via traditional and distance formats. The program leads to a Bachelor of Science degree (with licensure) in Elementary Education, preparing candidates to obtain South Carolina licensure and teach students in elementary grades K-6.
