Earning this specialty shows employers and facility owners that you're qualified to inspect insulation systems, identify CUI-related damage, and verify protective coating and jacketing conditions in accordance with AMPP standards. Exam registration, payment, and exam scheduling are completed through your My Certification Portal. Prerequisite Successful completion of Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) Course. Successful completion of the Ethics for the Corrosion Professional course or equivalent training. Current Basic Coatings Inspector (CIP Level 1), Certified Coatings Inspector (CIP Level 2), or Senior Certified Coatings Inspector (CIP Level 3) certification.
