With this specialty credential, you're qualified to inspect fire-resistant coatings and passive fire-protection systems - validating application, coating integrity, and compliance under AMPP standards. Exam registration, payment, and exam scheduling are completed through your My Certification Portal. Prerequisite Current Basic Coatings Inspector (CIP Level 1), Certified Coatings Inspector (CIP Level 2), or Senior Certified Coatings Inspector (CIP Level 3) certification. Recommended course: Fire Protection Inspector eCourse. Successful completion of Ethics for the Corrosion Professional course or equivalent training required.
