The Tax Specialist Enrolled Agents Level 1 Certificate recognizes attainment of basic skills necessary for employment in the accounting area with heavy emphasis on taxation. All courses may be applied toward the Tax Specialist Associate of Applied of Science degree. Note from the Texas Board of Public Accountancy: You can only refer to yourself as a CPA, accountant or auditor if you are a licensed CPA in the state of Texas. See Section 901.453 of The Public Accountancy Act.
