Quantitative Economics
Beloit College
The quantitative economics major requires more mathematics than the economics major and emphasizes quantitative skill. Students gain a solid understanding of fundamental economic and business principles, how the global market economy works, and how to apply these understandings to business management, public policy, and their own lives. The degree requires a minimum of 31 units of Beloit credit; Beloit uses course units rather than semester credit hours.
