Public Health
Brown University
Public health is an interdisciplinary concentration through which students gain an understanding of the breadth of theories, concepts, and methods that underpin science-based efforts to protect and promote the well-being of all people. Courses allow students to explore approaches to describing the health of populations, determining the causes of poor health outcomes, and designing and evaluating strategies for improving population health.
