The curriculum prepares individuals to work with children from infancy to 3 years of age in diverse learning environments. Coursework includes infant/toddler growth and development, physical/nutritional needs, safety issues, care and guidance, communication skills with parents and children, and design and implementation of appropriate curriculum. Employment opportunities include child development and childcare programs, preschools, and Early Head Start Programs.
