Within the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance, the Master of Health Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) degree program is a fully online, 60 credit hour, clinical program, allowing graduates, upon passing the National Counselor Exam (NCE), the ability to apply to the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors (NCBLCMHC) and become Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associates (LCMHCA).
