Medical Assisting: Phlebotomy

The Medical Assisting - Phlebotomy short certificate requires students to complete fourteen (14) semester hours, of which thirteen (13) are in medical assisting coursework. This program prepares students for work in acute care settings, such as major hospital laboratories, minor emergency centers, and free-standing laboratories, under the supervision of medical laboratory technologists or laboratory managers. The courses provide both classroom and clinical experiences.
