The purpose of the Child Development Early Childhood program is to produce knowledgeable and competent professionals who are able to work effectively with children birth through 8-year-olds and their families in a variety of roles in Early Childhood educational settings. The program is designed to provide training for caregivers or administrators in public and private schools, federal agencies, medical facilities, childcare agencies, and community agencies.
