A Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering is the basis for careers concentrating on the interaction of humans and the earth. Geological Engineers recognize and consider geologic hazards and conditions in the location and design of infrastructure, waste disposal, water supply, and mineral and energy resource development. The curriculum may be followed along three concentration paths: Environmental Geosciences, Engineering Geology and Geotechnics, and Mineral and Energy Resources.
