Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Program prepares individuals to recognize illnesses and injury symptoms and to provide legally permissible emergency treatment. The curriculum consists of theory instruction, skills instruction and demonstration, and field and clinical experience; upon completion the student is eligible to take the NREMT exam and apply for local EMS Authority county-issued certification. With emphasis on employment preparation.
