The Welding Code Certificate specializes in the American Welding Society Structural Steel Welding Code (D1.1) and Seismic Welding Code (D1.8). Students select one of three focus courses (Flux Core Arc Welding, Shielded Metal Arc Welding, or Pipe Welding procedures) to prepare to take the Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) exam at an AWS testing site.
