Communication majors are exposed to a variety of liberal arts offerings in addition to other discipline-specific courses such as interpersonal communication, public relations, advertising, media production, journalism, and film. Students learn communication theory as it relates to the individual, society, culture, and aesthetics. The degree is designed to prepare students for transfer to four-year colleges and universities as Communication majors.
