Judaic Studies

Judaic Studies majors analyze the complexity of Jewish societies and cultures over the ages and geographic spaces, including the U.S., Europe, modern Israel and the broader Middle East, and analyze diverse worldviews and value systems of the Jewish religion and its interactions with other religions. Students develop proficiency in modern Hebrew or another approved Jewish language and execute a discipline-specific research project. The major consists of 11 courses.
