Dickinson College
Music majors develop and articulate coherent interpretations of the outcomes of musical thought and activity through the disciplinary lenses of performance and/or theoretical, cultural, and historical analysis, and demonstrate skills of critical listening to musical practices, sound worlds, experiences, and scholarship. The major core includes music theory and history courses, applied study, a 300-level seminar, a capstone, and four semesters of ensemble.
