Spanish and Portuguese Studies

The Spanish & Portuguese Studies major offers concentrations built on advanced language study and the analysis of the cultures of the Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking world. Majors are allowed no more than two courses in the department taught in English, and any course taken outside the department must relate to the Spanish- and/or Portuguese-speaking world and be approved by the academic advisor. The degree requires 32 courses (not semester credit hours).
