Durham Tech's Early Childhood Education program prepares individuals to work with children from birth through eight in diverse learning settings. Students enrolled in the associate degree program must complete practicum experiences in approved early childhood settings. Prior to enrolling in any course that requires direct contact with children, students must complete a criminal background check, a tuberculin skin test, and a health assessment.
