Durham Technical Community College
The Associate in Science degree prepares students who plan to major in the sciences, mathematics, and health professions to transfer to a four-year university. The degree consists of 60 semester hours of credit (SHC) of college transfer courses. Students develop foundational knowledge particularly in science and math and can explore specific areas of specialization such as geology, environmental science, biology, physics, mathematics, statistics, chemistry, and astronomy.
