The Associate in Fine Arts in Visual Arts (AFA) prepares students who plan to major in studio art at a four-year university. The degree consists of 60 semester hours of credit (SHC) of college transfer courses, including a core fine arts curriculum made up of Drawing, Two-Dimensional Design, Three-Dimensional Design, and Art History I and II. Students have the opportunity to deepen their study of fine arts and explore various media through a variety of studio art courses.
