Practical Nursing
East Mississippi Community College
This one-year program is a course of study designed to prepare qualified men and women to become Practical Nurses. Graduates receive a Vocational Certificate of Proficiency for Practical Nursing and are prepared to write the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN). Accreditation is maintained through the Mississippi Board of Nursing; the program is offered on the Golden Triangle Campus (August start) and the Scooba Campus (January start).
