English for IT B1 validates intermediate English (CEFR B1, GSE 43–58) for IT study and work. It covers finding key information in simple IT texts and conversations, writing short paragraphs with industry vocabulary, and describing digital tasks and processes. Candidates need B1-level English and about 40 hours of preparation; the exam (50 minutes plus a 5-minute tutorial) has 31 items with a 70% pass mark per section and overall. Exam EIT-B1-0x.
