The Master of Science in Nursing: Patient Safety and Quality gives students an in-depth understanding of current issues impacting healthcare, principles of patient safety, types of healthcare errors, and their impact on patient outcomes. Graduates are prepared to lead safety and quality care initiatives with mastery of safety culture, regulations and compliance, legal issues, and system designs such as LEAN and Six Sigma. The program is offered online and may be completed full- or part-time.
