The Department of Science and Mathematics prepares students for a variety of careers in the natural sciences and serves to prepare students for graduate and professional schools. Students interested in medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, or veterinary school tend to major in biology and/or chemistry, while others who are interested in the non-clinical side of science pursue graduate degrees in the biomedical sciences or work in laboratory data collection and analysis.
