Early Childhood Education (Associate of Applied Science)

The mission of the GBC early childhood program is to provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to work effectively and professionally with young children, their families, and their communities. The AAS is offered with an Early Childhood Emphasis and an Infant/Toddler Emphasis, qualifying students for employment as paraprofessionals, teachers, and/or directors in child care centers, preschools, and home-based programs.
