This pattern of study provides students with a solid base of mathematics, physics, chemistry, and computer science required in the first two years of baccalaureate degrees in engineering and physical science (chemistry, physics, etc.) programs. Graduates can transfer to a four-year engineering or physical science degree program or work at the level of a junior engineer in the electrical, mechanical, or chemical fields.
