Great Basin College offers a one-year program leading to a Certificate of Achievement in Emergency Medical Services—Paramedic. Paramedic education prepares the graduate to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) examination and become certified as a nationally registered paramedic. The degree and certificate are approved by the State of Nevada and accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
