The Bachelor of Social Work degree includes course and field work that prepare students for entry-level professional social work practice. Students gain knowledge of the theories, skills, and professional values that enable them to become social workers in a variety of programs, such as child welfare, community development, corrections, delinquency, employee assistance, health settings, mental health, disabilities, planning and administration, public assistance, and services to the aged.
