The Licensure Plus M.A.T. Program is designed for individuals who have earned a bachelor's degree, who do not have a teaching license, and who are seeking Standard Professional License 1 in Teaching English as a Second Language (ESL). The first step of Licensure Plus M.A.T. leads to the Standard Professional 1 (SP1) license; the second step leads to the Master of Arts in Teaching ESL and master's licensure.
