Our Data Science PhD program is a research-focused degree geared towards guiding students to independent research and practical problem solving by applying principles of Data Science to diverse domain applications. The program requires a minimum of 36 semester hours. Students complete upper-level coursework, a comprehensive exam, a doctoral research seminar, and doctoral studies culminating in the completion and defense of a final dissertation.
