The Practical Nursing Program prepares the individual to assist in providing general nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse, advanced practice registered nurse, licensed physician, or dentist. Graduates are prepared to write the National Council Licensure Examination PN (NCLEX-PN) to become Licensed Practical Nurses. The program is accredited by the Mississippi Board of Nursing.
