The ESED degree provides a path to teaching for individuals who hold a bachelor's degree but have not previously earned certification to teach. The integrated curriculum combines Elementary Education and Special Education content in a year-long, thirty-six (36) credit hour, internship-apprentice based experience in the classroom of an experienced mentor teacher.
