Building Construction
Lawson State Community College
The Building Construction Program prepares students for successful employment in residential and commercial construction. Coursework combined with field experience positions graduates for careers as project managers, field superintendents, estimators, field engineers, and building code officials. The 62-credit-hour AAS degree covers construction tools and materials, blueprint reading, framing, concrete applications, codes, and project management.
