Africana Studies

The major in Africana Studies is an interdepartmental, comparative program of study for undergraduates who wish to integrate the insights and methods of several disciplines to understand the history, culture, and social and political experience of people of African descent globally. The major consists of a minimum of ten courses, including an introductory course, breadth courses, electives, a senior seminar, and experiential learning.
