This program prepares students to provide education and care for children up to five years of age who are not yet in kindergarten. Graduates may be employed in public, corporate, or private care centers, preschools, or Head Start facilities, either as teachers or in administration. Successful completion of the Prekindergarten Program meets the Ohio Department of Education academic requirements for the Initial Five-Year Professional Licensure in Prekindergarten Education.
